Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, including:

  • Account Information: Name, email address, company name, and password when you create an account.
  • Business Information: Client business details, services, service areas, and branding information you input to generate websites.
  • Usage Data: Information about how you use the Service, including features accessed, pages viewed, and actions taken.
  • Payment Information: Billing details processed by our payment provider (we do not store full credit card numbers).
  • Customer and Lead Information: Names, phone numbers, email addresses, service addresses, messages, and job details for the customers and leads you manage in the Service, whether you enter them or import them from a connected account.
  • Connected Account Data: Information you authorize us to read from third-party accounts you connect, such as Google, Yelp, or a payment or accounting provider. Section 4 describes what we read and how we use it.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
  • Generate websites, content, and images based on your inputs
  • Process transactions and send related information
  • Send technical notices, updates, and support messages
  • Respond to your comments, questions, and requests
  • Monitor and analyze trends, usage, and activities
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent or unauthorized activity

3. AI-Generated Content

Our AI systems process the business information you provide to generate website content and images. This data is used solely for providing the Service and is not used to train our AI models without your explicit consent.

4. Connected Accounts and Google User Data

You can connect third-party accounts to the Service, for example a Google account for Google Local Services Ads or Google Business Profile, or a Yelp account for Yelp leads. When you connect an account we request only the permissions shown on that provider's consent screen, and you can decline or revoke them at any time.

When you connect a Google account, we may access:

  • Google Ads and Local Services Ads: the list of ad accounts you can access, and the leads those accounts receive, including the lead's name, phone number, message text, conversation history, and lead status. We use this to show those leads in your pipeline, alert you, and send your replies back to the lead through Google.
  • Google Business Profile: your business listings, reviews, and the photos and posts you choose to publish. We use this to show and answer reviews and to publish content you approve.

We use data received from Google APIs only to provide and improve the features you connected the account for. We do not use it to serve advertisements, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models. Our employees do not read this data except with your permission, for security or abuse investigations, to comply with the law, or when the data has been aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.

Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Access tokens for connected accounts are stored encrypted and used only by our servers. You can disconnect an account from Settings in the Service or from your Google Account permissions page. When you disconnect, we delete the stored tokens and stop reading from that account. Leads and customer records already imported stay in your account until you delete them, so your customer history is not lost.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

  • Service Providers: Third parties that help us operate the Service (hosting, payment processing, email and text message delivery, and telephony).
  • Connected Platforms: When you reply to a lead or publish content through a connected account, we send that reply or content to the platform you connected (for example Google or Yelp) on your behalf.
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
  • Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

6. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to collect information about your browsing activities. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not function properly without them.

We use:

  • Essential cookies for authentication and security
  • Analytics cookies to understand how the Service is used
  • Preference cookies to remember your settings

7. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. This includes encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security assessments.

8. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Upon account deletion, we will delete or anonymize your data within 90 days, except where retention is required by law.

To delete your account and the data held with it, see Delete your account, which lists exactly what is removed and what we are required to keep.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your information
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Data portability
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@holtt.com.

10. GDPR Compliance (EEA Users)

If you are in the European Economic Area, we process your data under the following legal bases: contract performance, legitimate interests, legal obligations, or consent. You have additional rights under GDPR including the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

11. CCPA Compliance (California Users)

California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used, the right to delete personal information, and the right to opt-out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information).

12. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will take steps to delete it.

13. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers, including Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable.
